Phyllis Jean Krueger, 69, of Harrison, MI passed away at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital on Friday, December 31, 2021.
Phyllis was born on October 7, 1952 in Grand Rapids, MI to John and Margaret Mazurkiewicz. She was a member of Resurrection Life Church for many years and even did several mission trips to the Philippines. Her faith was a very big part of her life. She was known as the party arranger, loved traveling and was always willing to help anyone in need.
She loved children and they actually seemed to gravitate toward her, she was no stranger to them. They would come to her and ask to be held or just start chatting away. She was a very dynamic person, was very knowledgeable and an all around good person. She is dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Stephen E. Krueger; children Stephen (Heidi) Krueger and Michael (Kimberly) Krueger; 9 grandchildren Ashley, Andrew, Ethan, Victor, Hunter, Allie, Izaak, Caleb and Emma; brothers Dave (Linda) Mazurkiewicz, Ed (Lori) Mazurkiewicz, John (Roxanne) Mazurkiewicz and Frank Mazurkiewicz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Patricia Ann Mazurkiewicz; mother and father-in-law Geraldine & Erwin Krueger; and brother-in-law James Krueger.
As to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Phyllis's Life will be scheduled at a later date.
