Wilma Potapshyn

Wilma Potapshyn, 98, of Grayling passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022.

Wilma was born to Michael and Mary (Boyer) Evans in Marianna, PA on March 16, 1923. She loved bowling and was on the women's bowling league. She enjoyed canning, gardening and watching the Pistons and Tigers. She worked at Michigan Bell for a time and enjoyed that very much.

Wilma is survived by grandchildren Tanya (Nick) Burgess, Charles (Wendy) Wootton and Rebecca Wootton; great-grandchildren Amanda, Adriana, Chance, Brooke, Bremen, Bryant, Brielle and Cassandra; son-in-law Charles (Kathy) Wootton; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by great-granddaughter Ashlee, daughter Jeane Wootton, husband Frank Potapshyn and 7 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services and interment will be Saturday, March 19, 2022, 10:00 am at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, MI. Memorial brunch will follow at Rochester Mills Brewery private dining room at 11:30 located at 400 Water St. Rochester, MI 48307.
