William Patrick Lucksted

William Patrick Lucksted, Sr., age 83, of Beaver Creek Twp passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 12, 2023.

Bill was born to Leon and Margaret (Gaulin) Lucksted on March 17, 1940 in Warren, Michigan. Bill married Florence Davies on March 26, 1961 and together they raised four wonderful sons.

Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He supported his sons in all of their athletic events, and was a huge fan of all Detroit sports. Bill was a member of the Grayling Church of Christ and spent many years as the song leader for the church. His presence in the community will be missed dearly.

Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence "Flo" Lucksted; children Terry (Elaine) Lucksted, Jerry Lucksted, Bill Lucksted Jr. (Nikki Wasielewski) ., and Dan (Beth) Lucksted; grandchildren Danielle, Joshua, Tanner, and Bethany; step-grandchildren Derek and Stacey; great-grandchildren Carly and Sophie; step-great-grandchildren Summer and AJ; siblings Leona, Sue, and Gary; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim and sister Mary.

Bill's family will remember him privately during this time and hold a Celebration of Bill's Life at a later date.
