William C. "Bill" Coy, 72, of Maple Forest Township passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008. Bill was born August 23, 1935 in Belding, Michigan. He married Mary Ellen (Millard) Coy on September 15, 1956 in Warren, Michigan. Bill served for over 43 years in the Army National Guard retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Bill was a member of Masonic Lodge #356 F&AM, OES Grayling Chapter 83,Friends of Hartwick Pines, Crawford County Historical Society, Volunteer for the American Red Cross, he was a Crawford County Sheriff Reserve Officer, Past Crawford County Commissioner, on the Crawford County Planning and Zoning Commission, Crawford County Board of Appeals, he was Maple Forest Supervisor and Assessor, and Assessor for Lovells Township, Bill with his wife Mary owned and operated Mary's Corner Book Swap - Lady Slipper Gifts in Grayling for over 20 years closing in 2002. Bill is survived by his wife Mary,Daughters Jerene (Jack) Bramble of Grayling, Janelle Cousins and Compaion Tim Legg of Roscommon, Grandchildren, Aimee Schell and Justin Tripolitis of Virginia, Michelle Stepp and significant other Nicholas Donnell of Missiouri, Glenn Cousins and wife Kayla Avalos of Grayling, Michael Cousins of Roscommon, 1 great granddaughter, Harmonie Schell, brothers Kenneth (Dorothy) Hulliberger of Belding, James (Jeannette) Hulliberger of Belding and Alan Hulliberger of Belding. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Dan and David Hulliberger, and great grandson, Jordon Devries. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with Masonic and Eastern Star Ceremonies from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held Thursday May 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Barnett officiating at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, Michigan.
