Wilbur Edward Jones, Jr.

Wilbur Edward Jones, Jr., 64, of Grayling, passed away on December 17, 2021. He was born on March 7, 1957 to the late Wilbur and Violet Jones in Wheeling, West Virginia. Wilbur married Robin Myers on June 19, 1977 in Wheeling, West Virginia. He served in the US Army. Survived by his wife Robin of 44 years. Children: Wilbur (Brianna) Jones; Mary Hawley; Sarah (Dorian) Billings; and Mary Jane Jones, all of Grayling. Grandchildren: Angela, Stephanie, Kristin, Jeremie, Wilbur, Morgan, Renee, and Amelia. Great grandchildren: Sophiea, Zane, and Ava. Brothers: David Jones of Roscommon and John Jones of Grayling and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ardath Roberts and Ruth Alzner, and granddaughter Madelyn Renee Billings. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, when funeral service will begin. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Spring of 2022.
