Thomas Gregory Brooks
Thomas Gregory Brooks, age 84 of Grayling, MI passed away at his home peacefully on May 9, 2024 surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 13, 1940 to Arlie and Frances (White) Brooks in Cadillac, MI. He retired from the Michigan Army National Guard and served as a police officer for the City of Grayling Police Department. In retirement, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, golfing, woodworking, being with his family, and working around his home.
He is survived by wife; of 62 years, Florence Brooks; children, Mark (Kim) Brooks, Anthony (Amy) Brooks, Scott (Christy) Brooks, Steve (Joy) Brooks, and Michelle (Roger) Cornell; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, May 13, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Grayling, MI. Family will begin receiving guests at 9:00 AM. A luncheon will follow in the Family Center at the church.
