Steven Jan Smith

Steven Jan Smith, much beloved son, 63, of Kalkaska, passed away on December 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 14, 1953, in Richmond, Indiana to Jan M. Smith and Carolyn (Geake) Rakoczy. Steven is survived by his mother, Carolyn (Ron) Rakoczy of Grayling and his father, Jan M. Smith of Zionsville, Indiana. Siblings: Susan Smith of Grayling; Stacia (Stephen) Hermeston of Katy, Texas; Jason (Amy) Smith of Zionsville, Indiana; Ronald (Ronda) Rakoczy of Grayling; Stanley (Cassie) Rakoczy of Florida; Joseph (Kathy) Rakoczy of Colorado; and Rosanna (Paul) Zill of Grayling. Steven is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by numerous family members.
