Ruth Joan Miller, age 99, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 3, 2026 at Munson Healthcare - Grayling Hospital.

Ruth was born to John and Grace (McEwen) Tomlinson on October 18, 1926 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. She is predeceased by her adoring husband of 72 years, Robert, as well as her children Joanne Thompson and Robert Miller. 

Ruth is survived by a daughter-in-law, son-in-law, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to her friends and neighbors who helped her live independently in the home she loved. 

Ruth's wishes were to be cremated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
