Robert B. Knight, 80, of Grayling passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2024 after a hard fought 20 month battle with cancer. Bob was born in Mansfield, Ohio on January 28, 1944 to William and Mary Emma Knight, the youngest of four boys.

Bob was a professional ski instructor skiing all over the world. He loved playing golf and spending lots of time riding his Harley meeting friends wherever he rode. Bob grew up on KP Lake in Lovells, Michigan where he always wanted to spend his retirement years. After 37 years in Eagle, Idaho he and Joan found their dream home and moved back to KP Lake in 2021.

Cremation has taken place and his final resting place will be at the Lovells Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, Michigan. It was Bob’s wishes not to have funeral services or flowers, but, for family and friends to celebrate his life with the memories he made with them. Bob will be deeply missed by all those he was surrounded with during his lifetime.
