Ricky Arlee Reed, 66, of Grayling, passed away on June 22, 2017. Rick was born in Yakima, Washington on September 7, 1950 to the late Mary Francis (Tindall) and Keith Arlee Reed. He graduated from Grayling High School in 1968. Rick served in the US Navy. He has owned and operated R & R Repair and Refinish for over 30 years. Rick loved to play music. He was drummer and singer in The Black Velvet Band for many years. He was an avid golfer and member at the Grayling Country Club. He raised white birds, was owner of AuSable Loft, and did white bird releases. Survived by his daughters Shilee (Josh) Taylor of Delton and Bridgette (Jason) Steele of Gaylord. Grandchildren: Braeden and Sophie. Niece: Jamie (Paul) Snyder and their children Brittanie and Paul, Jr. of Grayling. Brother: Duane Hamblin of Grayling and niece, Aleshia Hamblin . Step dad: Duane "Bud" Hamblin of Grayling. Preceded in death by his father, Keith Arlee Reed; mother, Mary Hamblin; and brother, Randy Reed.
