Phillip Roy Jenniches, 59, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his home in Grayling.

Phillip was born on August 20, 1966 in Flint, MI to his parents Bartley and Barbara (Walker) Jenniches. Phil was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also liked to go golfing and liked playing around on anything with a motor in it. He was a very handyman to have around, always fixing something or starting a new project to work on. He was a huge U of M fan, Go Blue!, always rooting for U of M football and basketball. He loved his family and children very much. His more recent enjoyment was watching his daughter barrel race horses and downhill ski. His presence will be truly missed by all that were a part of his life.

Phil is survived by his wife, Tamara Jenniches; children, Brandon (Michelle) Jenniches, Brianna (Daniel) Jackson, and Gia Jenniches; grandchildren, Tanner, Chase, Piper, Jason, Mia, and Oliver; brother Bartley (Andrea) Jenniches; and sisters, Leslie (Greg) Knickerbocker and Melissa Jenniches.

He is preceded in death by his son, Christian Jenniches; brother, Mark (Jan) Jenniches; and parents, Bartley and Barbara.

Phil's family will remember him privately during this time.
