Pamela Jean "PAMMY" Medsker, 59, of Grayling, passed away on June 14, 2017. Pam was born on July 20, 1957 in Petoskey to the late Edward and Betty Lou Medsker. She resided at Wargo Manor for 20 years and enjoyed her family there. Pammy was always in a good mood and a happy person that touched the heart of many people. She loved the Wargo mascot dog, Otis. She always offered a big hug and wanted to know if people were going to come back tomorrow. Pam loved going to work at ROOC. She loved her involvement in Special Olympics over the years and looked forward to going to camp. Pam has won a lot of medals in Special Olympics over the years. Pam used to take great pride in her job of cleaning the library and Secretary of State building. Pam enjoyed attending "her church" at St. John Lutheran. After retirement, Pam enjoyed being at home doing crossword puzzles, she did not like missing her soap operas, and her absolute favorite show was the Price is Right. Survived by her brother, Robert and sister, Sally. Step brother, Tim and step sister, Kelly. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steven. Great appreciation is extended to all of that doctors that Pam has seen over the years. The one that she loved the most was her heart doctor, Dr. Michael Schulte. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Monday, June 19, 2017 between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon.
