Nancy Clara Moore

Nancy Clara Moore 76, of Grayling passed away January 1st 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Nancy was born August 16, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Stanford L. and Clara B. (Cummins) Curtiss. She graduated from Alma High School in 1956. She married Wayne F. (Fred) Moore June 25, 1960 in Alma. In 1977 Nancy and her Husband Fred moved to Grayling and owned Moore's Automotive (NAPA) until their retirement in 2004. Nancy devoted her life to her husband and family because they were the most important part of her life. Nancy is survived by her husband, Fred; Children Wayne F. Moore Jr. (Momilani) of Waianae, Hawaii, Patrick C. Moore of Ann Arbor, Timothy J. Moore (Andrea) of Mt. Pleasant, Michelle M. Moore of Kissimmie, Fl. and Andrew D. Moore (Stacy) of Grayling. Nine Grandchildren, Allison, Grace, Timothy II, Brennan, Nikolas, Katelyn, Andrew II, Alexander and Mathieu; Brothers: Stan, Mike, and Tim; Sisters: Donna and Mary. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Moore and sister Joan Paulson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
