Nancy Lee Montgomery

Nancy Lee Montgomery, 62, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, September 26, 2015. Nancy was born to parents Roy and Carolyn (Swett) Hughes in Flint, MI on April 11, 1953. Nancy started work as a one-room school teacher in Holly and other states and cities for 15 years before becoming a medical office manager. She had just recently retired and was happy being one of the girls at Northern Michigan Real Estate Broker with Laurie and Bobby. Nancy is survived by daughter, Carrie (Jeff) Hurley; grandchildren, Heaven, Makaila, and Jeff; siblings, J. Louis Hughes, Carol Brown, Ruth Mason, and William Hughes; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, and step-son, Christian Montgomery. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Grayling Seventh Day Adventist Church on the grounds of Camp AuSable.
