Nancy Lee Bindschatel

Nancy Lee Bindschatel, 84, of Frederic, MI passed away June 23, 2020.

Nancy was born to the late Earl and Geraldine (Linzey) Getchel in Owosso, MI on January 6, 1936. She married Lowell Bindschatel on September 1, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2012 after 55 years of marriage. Nancy was a very dedicated woman. She has worked as the Township of Frederic clerk since 1991. She was also Lowell's bookkeeper in his construction business.

Nancy is survived by sons, Lowell (Kristinia) Bindschatel II of Gaylord and Warren (Debra) Bindschatel of Frederic; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kylie, Warren, Eli, and Blake; siblings, Jack (Ruthetta) Getchel, Doris (George) Hanstein, and Linda Getchel. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Bindschatel; sister, Lillian; brothers, Ralph, Earl, and George; and her parents.

Visitation will be at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home Sunday, June 28 from 2-8 pm and funeral services Monday, June 29 at 12 pm with visitation from 11-12 pm. ***With respect to Covid-19 Pandemic, please remember practicing social distancing, wear a mask to protect persons that are at risk, and practice good handwashing.***
