Michelle Louise Palmer

Michelle Louise Palmer, age 62, of Frederic, MI, passed away on October 30, 2025 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community surrounded by her children. She was born on January 12, 1963 in Midland, MI to Harry and Julia (Duby) Press.

Michelle loved the outdoors, her garden, and the thrill of discovering something unique to collect. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and exploring new places on road trips. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life.

Michelle is survived by her children, Sara Dunckley, Christine (Dakota Peterson) Palmer, Daniel (Brittny) Palmer, and Jeffery Palmer; grandchildren, Madison, Roger, Blake, Amelia, Ava, Lahken, Brennen, Carson, and Holly; mother, Julia Diemert; siblings, Elizabeth (Jeff) Hoyt, Richard Press, Robert (Kristi) Press, and Delbert Case; significant other, William Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Harry Press, brother Terry Press, step-father Terry Diemert, and grandparents Marie and Ray Duby.

Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10:30am until 12:00pm. Immediately following visitation, a Celebration of Michelle's Life will be held at American Legion Post 106 in Grayling, MI.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
