Mark Edward Smallwood

Mark Edward Smallwood, age 67, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Mark was born on June 17, 1958 to Ben and Catherine (Smith) Smallwood in Detroit, MI. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He also loved his cats, enjoyed good food, cooking, and camping with his brother Jim. Mark had quite a different sense of humor.

Mark will be dearly missed by his siblings, Dale (Sandy) Smallwood of CO, Sherry (Tom) Graziano of Grayling, Mary (Mark) Montbriand of Midland, Amy Smallwood of Gaylord, and Jim (Kimberly) Smallwood of Burton; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; nephew, Joseph Earl; and many aunts and uncles.

The family has chosen to remember Mark privately during this time and will celebrate his life at a later date when he is laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Birmingham, MI.
