Mark Joseph Kolka 'Big Fellar/Kolka-Nut', 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 9th, 2018. Born on August 29th, 1960 to Theodore 'Jack' & Carol (Korhonen) Kolka. Mark was a 1978 graduate of Grayling High School. He married Mary Rutkowski on July 11th, 1981 and they raised one daughter, Andrea Marie Kolka. Mark's work ethic compared to none, he never rested. Mark was a 1 of a kind father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and coach. A perfectionist. He was very passionate about gardening, canning, paddling, hunting & fishing. He enjoyed campfires and country music, spent more time in his garage than his house and plenty of that time on the phone. Mark was the one for BBQ'n, tailgate cooking and best for late night dinners. He was high volume and spoke fluent Kolkanese with the gift to gab "Ya know what I mean". Passing knowledge onto others made him happy and his face would light up around children "Lil Gaffer's". He valued close relationships, appreciated good times and loved making memories "It's what it's all about". He leaves behind daughter, Andrea kolka; former spouse, Mary (Rutkowski) Kolka; parents, Carol (Korhonen) Kolka and Jack (Janet) Kolka; siblings, Jeff Kolka, Scott (Amy) Kolka, Jackie Kolka, Ted Kolka and Paul Kolka; nieces & nephews, Michelle Sanborn (Logan & Leah), Adam Kolka, Joelissa Kolka, Jillian Calvin, Naomi Kolka, Cassandra Kolka, Theo Kolka, Noah Kolka and Jake Kolka; dearly close Unc's; educated K-9 Stella (Sella); and many many friends and very extended family. He is reunited with brother, Joel Kolka. Mark Kolka touched so many lives, will be deeply missed and never forgotten "Ya follow me".
