Margaret Ruhland, 86, of Grayling, passed away on June 1, 2022.
She was born on May 27, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Loren Guy and Irene Rose (Newman) Mathers. She was married to Theodore Ruhland in 1970. He preceded her in death in 1993. Margaret truly enjoyed being around family and enjoyed music and dancing.
Survived by her children: Mike (Lori) Gambrel of Mio; Monica (Rick) Dent of Grayling; Maryellen Gambrel of Grayling; Michelle (James) Ward of Washington; Mark (Ruth) Wilkerson of Phillipines; Danny (Raquel) Wilkerson of Texas; and Patty Ruhland of Midland. Grandchildren: Dawn, John, Rob, Jamie, Stacie, Kaiden, Jennifer, Jeremiah, Jessica, Autumn, Christina, Vanessa, Andrew, Sam, Travis, Korrin, Gary, Vera, Jordan, and Trevor. She was also blessed with 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister: Rosemary Dunlap of Grayling. Preceded in death by her husband Theodore; brothers, Jack, Bob, Joe, and Frank; sisters, Geraldine and Patricia; and a granddaughter, Christina.
Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022 between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Service will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Phillip Niederer officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
