Margaret Mary Gunsell

Margaret Gunsell, 75, of Frederic passed away peacefully at home October 9, 2020.

Margaret was born January 29, 1945 to William Gordon Spurrier and Evelyn Kadlitz in Detroit. Margaret was married to Edward Gunsell for 51 years. As a social worker she managed group homes and a boys group. She loved taking care of people and helping those in need. She also enjoyed camping. She loved her family, Edward Jr. Gunsell, Dawn (Ross) Yule, Michelle (John) Moore, and William Gunsell; grandchildren, John Moore IV, Stephanie Moore, Bryan Gunsell, Christopher Gunsell, David Moore, Brandon Gunsell, Cherea Gunsell, Cheyanne Gunsell, and Kelly Flores; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Delaney, and Sebastian; siblings, Sherry Spurrier, Chuck Spurrier, and David Spurrier. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Edward Gunsell, both of her parents, and siblings, William Gordon Jr., Joan Triffo, Patricia West, Gordon Spurrier, and Shirley Paulsen.

A memorial service will be held October 26, 2020, 10:00 am at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
