Mae Louise Hatfield

Mae Louise Hatfield, 87, of Grand Rapids (formerly of Grayling), passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Louise was born in Flint on September 9, 1928 to George and Viola (Linna) Wilcox. She married Howard Thomas Hatfield on November 8, 1947 in Grayling. They were married for 59 years before he preceded her in death in 2007. Louise worked at Citizens Bank (now First Merit), Bear Archery, and Grayling Mercantile. She loved bowling and golfing. Louise and her husband, Howard, were "acorn pickers". Survived by her sons: William (Karen) Hatfield of Florida and Thomas (Margaret) Hatfield of Grand Rapids. Grandchildren: Thomas "TJ" (Natalie) Hatfield; Amy Hatfield, Darling; Katherine (Jason) Edstrum: Laura (Clint) Polhill. Great grandchildren: Caryn, Monica, Jack, Lyle, Harry, Sawyer, Leah, and Charlotte. Brother: John Wilcox of Arizona. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard.
