Leslie Howard Hall, age 81, of Grayling, MI passed on from his earthly body to his Heavenly home on February 23, 2026.

Les was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 29, 1944 to Charles and Mary Hall. He worked for 30+ years at General Motors as a welder. He married his wife Sandra in December of 1983. Together they enjoyed traveling and exploring different areas. Les liked to spend time tinkering in his shed, making sure all his things were just so. He loved woodworking and making furniture, things that he needed and that would be used. He enjoyed spending time with his brother whom he would go fishing and hunting with (though they never shot a deer or caught many fish), the time spent was the important thing.

Most important to Les was the church family that he and his wife Sandra had grown to love. He always wanted to help the church however he could, whenever he was able. The friendships made through the church were what kept his heart full. His presence will be deeply missed by his wife and church family.

Les is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Ann (Merrill) Hall; son, Scott (Deanna) Hall; several nieces and nephews; and his loving church family. He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Sandra will begin greeting guests at Calvary Baptist Church, 6054 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI 49738, at 10:00 am until the beginning of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 28, 2026, officiated by Pastor Phillip Niederer. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service.
