John Hanson Blaine

John Hanson Blaine, 70, of Grayling, MI., passed away on May 14, 2017. John was born in Grayling, MI on January 13, 1947, a son of the late Mildred (Hanson) and Clement Blaine. John graduated from Grayling High School in 1966. He married Charlene Malcolm on May 22, 1980 in Grayling. John enjoyed time with his family, skiing, camping, and cruises. He was a member of the Grayling Eagles and a lifelong member of Grayling Booster Club. Survived by his wife Charlene of almost 37 years, Children; Jason Blaine of Florida and Mary Teeters of Manton. Grandchildren: Taylor Anne and Mico. Great granddaughter: Maddie. His beloved Golden Retriever companion, Teddy . Preceded in death by his parents and Aunt Ingeborg Raae. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the service at the Grayling Eagles.
