Joel Tyler Hogan, 37, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 11, 2024.
Joel was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 18, 1986. He was raised by his mother and father, Daniel Hogan and Patricia (Reisenauer) Hogan in Hamilton, OH, Morgantown, WV and Huntington, WV. He attended high school at the Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, VA. Joel enjoyed his time with the military school and being a member of the rifle and football teams. He was also a huge military history buff. He was employed at AT&T for many years in Grayling and Cadillac.
Joel was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and all things Star Wars. He had a very bubbly personality and enjoyed making people laugh. He raised a daughter who he was very close with and shared a very special bond.
Survived by his daughter, Blair Hogan; father Daniel (Kandice) Hogan; brother, Justin (Lauren) Hogan, and niece Imogen Hogan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Reisenauer.
A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future.
