Joan Bastuba, 77, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully on April 29, 2021 in Grayling, MI.
Joan was born to Max and Florence (Coucke) Mayes on July 29, 1943 in Detroit, MI. Joan spent the majority of her life living in Macomb County, MI. She enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics earlier in her life. She is loved and will be dearly missed.
Joan is survived by her children, Michelle (David) Smith of Shelby Twp. and Michael (Jodi Chapdelaine) Bastuba of Lovells; grandchildren, Max and Cheyenne; and siblings, Leon (Josefine) Mayes, Bill (Janet) Mayes, Sylviann (Bob) Seefelt, and Diane (Jerry) Richardson. She is preceded in death by both of her parents.
A gathering in memory of Joan will be planned for a later time.
