Joan M. Baker

Joan M. Baker, 78, of Maple Forest Township, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Joan was born in Bay City, Michigan on December 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Cecelia (Gatza) and Joseph Cinciala. She married Larkin Baker on October 4, 1958. They were married almost 50 years when Larkin preceded her in death in 2008. Joan was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She really enjoyed playing Bingo. Survived by her brothers: Bob (Nancy) Cinciala of Grayling and David of Nevada. Sister: Mary Ann Sagasser of Gaylord. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larkin; and her son, Michael. Service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Maple Forest Cemetery.
