JC Elmer King

JC Elmer King, 72, of Grayling passed away on Sunday, March 16th, 2008. JC was born in Porterfield Twp, MI on January 10, 1936, the son of the late Elmer E. and Beulah M. (Towner) King. He served in the US Marines for 12 years and in the US Air Force for 8 years. JC retired from the Air Force. He taught Aviation Mechanics at Kirtland Community College. He married Kay Ellen (Pettengill) King on August 29, 1986. JC enjoyed golfing, bowling, and reading. He was a member of the American Legion Post #106, a previous member of the VFW, and Grayling Eagles. JC is survived by his wife Kay Ellen Sons: Clyde (Karen) King of Colorado, Steve King of Colorado. Winnie Castle of Fennville John ( Dawn) Junttila of Grayling Grandchildren: Sarah King of Colorado, Joshua, Jacob, Seth, Sarah, & Anna Lepsy Amy & George Castle, Madison, Justice, and Sabrina Junttila and 4 great grandchildren.
