Jay T. Swanson

Jay T. Swanson, 58, of Grayling passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

Jay is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary "Jane" Swanson of Grayling; daughter, Amber Swanson of Grand Rapids; siblings, Jackie (Jeff) Malmsten of South Lyon, Cathy Medved of North Carolina, and Dick (Val) Swanson of Hamburg; and niece Angie (Sean) Baldwin and nephew Eric Swanson. Jay is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Rena Swanson, son Zachary at birth, and nephew Andy Swanson.

Jay was born July 3, 1961 in Ann Arbor. He married Mary "Jane" Hinkle on September 26, 1992 in Grayling. Jay enjoyed singing and Rock N Roll. He loved watching sports and was a big NASCAR fan.
