Jan Rosalyn Thorne, 66, 0f Grayling, passed away on May 17, 2021.
She was born in Grayling on October 11, 1954 to the late Ross and Phylis (Schmidt) Thompson. Jan enjoyed reading, cats, and playing darts. She was a member of Grayling Eagles for about 36 years. She also worked as a bartender at the Eagles for several years and will be missed by her Eagle "Brothers and Sisters".
Survived by her daughter Candace (Candy) Grigsby and (Pete Bensinger) of Lake Ann. Long term companion Rod Smith. Brothers: Joe "Pete" Thompson of Grayling and Jon (Ellen) Thompson of Lewiston. Jan was also survived by nieces, nephews and lots of extended family in Grayling. Preceded in death by her parents and sister in law, Joanne Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 between 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Grayling Eagles. Condolences may be sent to her family at www.sorensonlockwood.com
