Harry D. Honey, 89, of Lovells Township passed away on Tuesday, July 10th, 2007.. Harry was born in Erie, PA on February 2, 1918, the son of the late Frank Chester and Rose (Mioduszewski) Honey. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He retired from Chrysler where he worked as a tool maker for 36 years. He married Irene Wziatek on November 23, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. Harry moved to Lovells area in 1978, coming from Detroit, and has enjoyed many years of trout fishing, wood carving, and bee keeping. He is survived by his wife, Irene, of 62 years. Daughter: Laura Honey (Thomas Shriner) of Jensen Beach, Florida. Son: Alan (Veronica) Honey of Holland, MI. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: John and Michael Honey and Noel Shriner, and 2 great grandchildren: Jack and Ryan Honey. Brother: Frank Honey (Patricia) of Sterling Heights. Preceded in death by his parents, a son Harry Matthew Honey, a grand daughter Carolyn Honey, and a brother, Frank Honey. Private family services will be held.
