Geraldine "Mickey" Marie Plotzke, age 92, of Fairview, MI and formerly of Detroit, MI passed away peacefully at her residence with family near on January 9, 2026.

Mickey was born on February 10, 1933 in Highland Park, MI to Francis and Margaret (Krause) Plotzke. She spent the majority of her life living alongside her sister Catherine Plotzke who preceded her in death in 2023. She was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church, VFW #7170, Daughters of Isabella, Amadeus Circle #0616, and Fraternal Order of Eagles #2495.

Mickey is survived by nieces, Michelle Engelhard, Elizabeth (Michael) Sherer, Kathleen (Dominic) Bologna, Suzanne (Patrick) Barker; nephew, Robert Plotzke; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Margaret, and siblings Richard (Beverly) Plotzke and Robert (Doris) Plotzke.

Visitation and Rosary will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, MI on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm
