Gerald Wayne Lorentz, 76, of Maple Forest Township passed away on December 31, 2019.
He was the 20th child of Roscoe and Hattie (Cook) Lorentz, born in Gaylord on July 27, 1942. Gerald enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage, sports (especially hockey), riding four wheelers and snowmobiles, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Daniel (Wanda) Lorentz of Calumet, Kevin (Judy) Lorentz of Bentley, and Michael (Terra) Lorentz of Roscommon; grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Kevin II, Amanda, Cadentz, Darien, Brenden, Alexzander, and Morgen; and two sisters.
He is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Lorentz, and 17 brothers and sisters. His family will remember his journey of life privately. Condolences may be sent to www.sorensonlockwood.com.
