George Michael Gebhard, 79, of Grayling, MI, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 8, 2023.
George was born on July 31, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to Donald and Dorcas (Watkins) Gebhard. He served in the US Navy from 1963 - 1967. Following his military service, he was the Captain for the Saginaw Fire Department from 1967 - 2005. George enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
George is survived by his daughter Lisa (Cory) Summers and son Matt (Gwenn) Gebhard; grandchildren Gabrielle Frost and Antonio Caston; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Gebhard and brother James "Jim" Gebhard.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be announced at a later date.
