Frederick "Fred" Neil Campbell, age 86, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Fred was born on September 26, 1939 to Robert and Olive (Dickenson) Campbell in Omer, Michigan. He loved hunting, fishing, and being a member of the Masons and the Shriners. Fred enjoyed playing cards and also playing board games whenever there was time.
He was the President of Wellington Farm Park for a short time and was a longtime member of Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church, singing in the choir and doing many repair jobs at the church over the years. He liked talking to people and was a very social person. His favorite things to do was spend time with his family and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by the many, many people who knew him, but most of all his family.
Fred is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carole; children, Laurie Yott of Clio, Kimberly (Robert Brown) Belanger of Mt. Morris, Robert (Christine LaPointe) Campbell of Holly, and Robert (Mickey) Aldridge; grandchildren, Marcus, Mallory, Troy, Tyler, Kasey, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Eliza, Wesley, Lea, Reece, and Giana; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by parents, and brother Donald Campbell.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church in Grayling, MI on Monday, December 1, 2025 with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. A private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris, MI.
