Doreen Anne Baxmann

With heavy hearts the family of Doreen Anne Baxmann, 71, of Fairview, MI announce her passing on February 24, 2024 at The Villa of Rose City. She was surrounded by her siblings and her godson, Michael, singing her songs as she passed on from this world.

Doreen was born in Detroit, MI on March 2, 1952 to Robert and Doris (Johnstone) Plotzke.

She was a great friend and trusted confidant. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, listening to music and watching tv. She loved to travel anywhere her car would take her. She had a smile that radiated from her and completely lit up her face. She is dearly missed by her numerous family and friends.

Doreen is survived by her children, Amy (Greg) Wojtalik, Sarah (Robert) Smith, and Paul (Jaclyn) Baxmann; grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Ethan, Nikloas, Andrew, Rikki, Caelen, Alastair, Katie ; siblings, Michelle(late Gerald) Engelhard, Elizabeth(Michael) Sherer, Kathleen(Dominic) Bologna, Robert Plotzke, and Suzanne(Patrick) Barker, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, sister Margaret, and granddaughters Madison, Makenzi, and Rebekah.
