Donna Fay Hatfield

Donna Fay Hatfield, age 67, of Bear Lake Twp (Kalkaska), passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. 

Donna was born in Lansing, MI to David and Emma (Berryhill) Oller on November 2, 1956. She married husband Victor Hatfield on September 17, 1976 in Lansing, MI. She worked in the Frederic Fire Department as an EMT and firefighter for 8 years. She loved camping and was a member of the Oldsmobile Outdoor Club. She and Vic also enjoyed bowling in younger years. She was known for being a very caring person and a super woman with a big heart.

Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Victor Hatfield; Children: Louis (Gina) Hatfield, Eric (Amanda) Hatfield, Chris (Tiffany) Hatfield, Lora (Jordan) Strait, and Carrie Lundy; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; Mother, Emma Oller; Siblings, Gary (Denise) Oller and Teresa (Dallas) Herbruck; Mother-in-law, Audrey Hatfield; and countless nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father David Oller and father-in-law Louis Hatfield.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Fireman's Memorial Service at 12:00 pm, both at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow services at the Frederic Community Center. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic, MI in the Spring of 2024.
