Donald Lee Lownsbery, age 74, of Maple Forest Twp, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 8, 2025.
He was born on May 5, 1951 to Ora E. and Bertie L. (Miller) Lownsbery in Lansing, MI. Donald liked to tinker with outside projects. He worked on a project every weekend. He loved his grand and great-grandchildren and spent as much time with them as possible. He was a family man and always took to the light side of life, simple and true.
He is survived by his son, Lee (Vivian) Lownsbery; grandchildren, Jacquelynn (James Emery) Lownsbery, Edward Lee (Skylar Molshit) Lownsbery and Samantha Jean Lownsbery; great-grandchild, Neveah Emery; and siblings, Randy (Essie) Lownsbery, Bob Lownsbery, Gloria, Julie, Wendy Sue, and Brenda.
He is preceded by his wife Nancy Lownsbery and daughter Lisa Lee Lownsbery.
