Donald Lloyd Gooch, 89, of Frederic passed away December 17, 2020. Donald was born to Emmett and Mary (Hull) Gooch on June 20, 1931 in Midland, MI.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janet (Myers) Gooch; children Thomas William Gooch and Beverly Jean Deardurff; grandchildren, Joshua Norviel, Tiffany Norviel, Jennifer (Erik) Reichert, Wesley Paul (Ashleigh) Deardurff, Peggy Sue Deardurff, Joseph William Gooch, and Elizabeth Gooch; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Gooch, brother Emmett George Gooch, and young child Nancy Jo Gooch.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Army. He married his wife of 67 years Janet in Anderson, IN. He was a very active member of Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church, holding many different leadership roles. He was a Boy Scout Master, Girl Scout president, and was on the Girl Scout Council for many years.
