Obituary

Debra Jane Weaver, age 71, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at home comforted by her husband and son on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Debra was born on April 6, 1955 in Detroit, MI to William and Peggy (Deadman) Mc Innes.

Through Debra's life, she always had an unrelenting urge to help anyone in need. The legacy she left was of her gracefully and constantly helping and donating her time to others. She loved to be a nurse and after some time with other career choices, nursing became her passion. Her main joy in nursing was geriatric work.

She ran hundreds of charity events, again referring back to always selflessly giving of herself. She had a foster care home in the 80's that she eventually was able to reopen in the early 2000's. She kept herself very busy tending to others.

Debra enjoyed arts and crafts and liked sewing, crocheting, ceramics, and diamond painting. Her main love was family. She loved to go with her granddaughter to her barrel races and meet many new friends through those events. She loved her family, her kids, and her community.

Debra is survived by her husband, Daniel R Weaver; sons, Daniel E Weaver and Marcus Weaver; grandchildren, Noah Weaver, Lukas Weaver, Sophia Weaver, and Alyza Weaver; brother, brother, John Mc Innes; step-brother, Joey Forlini; and other half siblings, Diane Kzamme, Craig Mc Innes and Kelly Pepue.

Deb is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald Weaver; sister, Mary Forlini; step-dad, Joseph Forlini; and half-siblings, David and Billy.

A Celebration of Debra's Life will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at American Legion Post 106 in Grayling, MI.
