David Clarence Longstaff, Sr.

David Clarence Longstaff, Sr. age 76, of Grayling, Michigan went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 6, 2024. 

David was born to Clarence and Helen (Kushmaul) Longstaff in Adrian, Michigan on October 5, 1947. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Caroline (Pierce). David is survived by his wife Maria Longstaff; children, Deborah (Dan) Lewis, Susan (Chris) Coy, David (Jennifer) Longstaff, Joseph (Jessica) Longstaff, and Matthew (Lizzie) Longstaff; grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren) Coy, Daniel (Kate) Lewis, Nicholas (Braylie) Coy, Mitchel (Annalee) Lewis, Jonathan (Peyton) Lewis, Samuel Coy, Alexandria (Luke) Seiler, Annabelle Longstaff, David Longstaff, Brayden Longstaff, Madison Longstaff, Daisy Longstaff, Kendall Longstaff, Bradley Lawhorn, Haley Pakkala, Aiken Longstaff, Dixson Longstaff, and Matthew Longstaff; great-grandchild, Ethan Lewis.

David was a true patriot, a hunter, a fisherman, an outdoor enthusiast, but most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

A funeral service with military honors will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, 1:30 pm at Grayling Baptist Church, Grayling, Michigan.
