Charles P. Warpup June 18, 2008 Charles P. (Papa Smurf) Warpup, age 82 went to be with Our Heavenly Father on June 18, 2008. Better known as Papa Smurf a man who loved to ride his motorcycle. A great story-teller who spent many years traveling the World in the Merchant Marines. Charles was proceeded in death by his beloved wife Rose Marie (Paulus) Warpup and his parents Paul Reed Warpup and Julia Curtis Basler, Brothers Ralph, Burton, Reed, and Sister Betty. He is survived by his sons Lonnie (Tammy) Warpup of Roscommon, Larry Warpup of Detroit, James Warpup of Michigan, Daughter Lee Marie (Steve) Ludwick of Warren. And Many Many Beloved Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Houghton Lake Playhouse, Houghton Lake, Michigan. Beloved Father, Grandfather, Friend!
