Catherine Vinnie Smallwood, 88, of Grayling, passed away on December 22, 2020.
She was born on July 4, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Mark and Molly Smith. She married Ben Smallwood on March 28, 1952. They were married for 56 years before he preceded her in death in 2009.
Survived by her sons: Dale (Sandy) Smallwood of Colorado; Mark Smallwood of Grayling; Jim (Kim) Smallwood of Burton. Daughters: Sherry (Tom) Graziano of Grayling; Mary (Mark) Montbriand of Freeland; and Amy Smallwood of Grayling. Catherine was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will have a private service at A.J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Directors and burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Birmingham. A Celebration of Catherine’s Life will be held at a later date.
