Caroline Ann Avery

Caroline Ann Avery, 80, of Grayling, passed away on January 17, 2017. She was born on July 21, 1936 to the late James and Vera (Supnick) Avery in Detroit, Michigan. Caroline was active with activities of Crawford County Commission on Aging, especially wii bowling and Bingo.. Caroline adored her family and enjoyed traveling, birds, hockey and, the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, and making creations with her embroidery machine. Survived by her son Warren (Lindy) Lowery of Grayling. Grandchildren: Susan Sutton and Nicole Lowery. Great grandchildren: Sofia, Chloe, and Natalie. Brothers: Richard (Toni) Avery, Bill (Jeanette) Avery, and Jim (Joanne) Avery. Sisters: Ann Avery, Jeanette Marie Behling-Avery, and Ruth Becker. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Genevieve Hankins; and brother, Larry Avery; and her grandson, Conner Lowery. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on January 21, 2017 between 1:00-4;00 p.m. Gathering of Family and Friends to Remember Caroline will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. For those that wish to remember Caroline by memorial contribution, please consider Gift of Life Michigan.
