Carl Wallace Nichols

Carl Wallace Nichols, 84, of Grayling, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 30, 2014. Carl was born on August 15, 1930 to Floyd and Florence Nichols in Flushing, MI. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his workshop, and loved his dogs. Carl is survived by his wife of 60 years, Grace (Barber) Nichols; children, Carl David Nichols of Grayling, Steven Ray Nichols of Grayling, Penny J. Ford of Oxford, MI, Russ James Nichols of Grayling, and Ronald Floyd Nichols of Irons, MI; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Carl is preceded in death by parents Floyd and Florence Nichols and all of his siblings. A memorial service for Carl will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Grayling Baptist Church with Fred Seidler officiating. Condolences may be expressed at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
