Candace Kay Medeiros, 66, of Maple Forest Twp passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 10, 2023.
Candace was born to Otto and Morna (Farr) Dillon on May 16, 1957 in Charlotte, MI. Candace was an avid mushroom picker and waterfall chaser in the U.P. She enjoyed nature and canoeing down the Manistee River. She joined Local 324 as a heavy equipment operator in 1994. She loved her children, grandchildren and her pets. She will be dearly missed.
Candace is survived by her children, Joseph (Penelope) Medeiros, Andreas "Otto" (Hilary) Medeiros and Misty (David) Medeiros; granddaughters, Zoey Medeiros and Andrea Medeiros; two sisters, Penney and Vicky; and several nieces and nephews.
