Barbara Lyn Schultz

Barbara Lyn McKee Schultz, 60, of Grayling, passed away on December 9, 2016. She was born in Cadillac, Michigan on December 20, 1955 to the late Ross and Nesta (Gribel) McKee. Barb was the valedictorian of Kingsley High School class of 1974. She received a BA from Cedarville College and a teaching certificate from Central Michigan University. She married Jon Schultz on December 23, 1977 in Kingsley, Michigan. Barb homeschooled all five of her children. She was a member. Treasurer, Sunday School teacher and assistant choir director of Grayling Baptist Church. Survived by her husband Jon of Grayling. Children: Benjamin (Dawn) Schultz of Buckley; Chad Schultz of San Antonio, Texas; Richard Schultz of Cadillac, MI; Katrina Schultz of Grayling, MI; and Will Schultz of Traverse City, MI. Grandchildren: Cameron, Sabine, Jada and Edward. Sisters: Kathleen McKee, Janet Hunter, and Lois Lyon. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Monday, December 12. between 3-6 PM. Funeral service will be held at Grayling Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 13 at 10 AM.
