Ashdon Duane Micheal Frisbie

Ashdon Duane Micheal Frisbie, 23, of Grayling, MI, currently residing in Barryton, MI, lost his life in a tragic car accident on July 23, 2023. 

Ashdon was born in Clearwater, Florida to Micheal Frisbie and Katelyn Harris on March 21, 2000. His life was later enriched when Step-Parents Sarah Frisbie and Dave Harris came into and began sharing their love as well. Ashdon graduated from Grayling High School in 2018 where he enjoyed competing in Football and Wrestling as well as running Cross Country and Track & Field. After graduation, Ashdon got a job that he loved as a cell phone tower technician where he earned the respect of and built friendships with many. He was a dedicated, hard worker and it showed with every task or project he tackled.

Ashdon truly loved life and lived every moment to the fullest. Throughout school, he dedicated much of his time to athletics. He worked hard to become a stand out athlete in every sport he joined and he was a very decorated Wrestler. He could even be found giving back to the youth organizations as he got older by refereeing tournaments and volunteering in other ways. As a young man, Ashdon enjoyed traveling and loved being outdoors. He often took advantage of opportunities to downhill ski, golf, disc golf, camp, hunt and fish (or even just target shoot) or to be out on the water boating, canoeing, and swimming. Ashdon enjoyed riding his crotch rocket and absolutely loved Motocross. Whether it was racing his dirt bike competitively, a practice day at the track or just watching others race and ride, there was no where else he would rather be. From pit crewing for his dad and sister to the comradery of the moto community after the event was over, Ashdon loved every minute at the track. The thrill and adrenaline that came from riding fast and climbing high was what he lived for.

Ashdon had a contagious smile that radiated across his face and could light up a room. He loved his family and friends fiercely with all his heart. He was a devoted son, a loyal friend and a loving, encouraging big brother and cousin who all looked up to him. Ashdon touched the life of almost every person he met and he will be terribly missed. His life was cut short way too soon.

Ashdon is survived by his parents: Micheal (Sarah) Frisbie, Katelyn (David) Harris; Siblings Addison and Cali Frisbie and Elijah and Phoenix Harris; Grandparents Don (Stacey) Frisbie, Bruce McGuire, and Pamela Roshy; Great Grandmothers Dorothy Roshy and Midge Harris; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. 

He is preceded by Grandparents: Faye Ford VanLuchene, Cathy McGuire, Michael Roshy, Kathleen Harris, and Edwin Harris.

A Memorial service will be held at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9 with visitation from Noon to 2pm, Memorial Service at 2pm, and a luncheon to follow at Hanson Hills Recreation Area. A Memorial ride and Celebration of Ashdon's Life will be held at The Fredneck Ranch on October 14. The Ranch is located at the Corner of Twin Peaks Road and Newman Road Frederic, Michigan 49733.
