Alma Alice Mitchell, 98, of Frederic, MI passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 23, 2022.
Alma was born on December 13, 1924 in Frederic to the late Otis and Alice (Johnson) Weaver.
Survived by her children: Michele (Ron) Stanley; Mark (Sheri) Mitchell; and Martha (Pete) VanNuck all of Frederic. Grandchildren: Michael (Heather) Marelich; Marcus (Amy) Marelich; Alicia (Matt Townsend) Stanley; Matthew (Jessica) Mitchell; Kimberli (Chris Dibble) Mitchell; Robert (KC) VanNuck; Jennifer (Adam Peterson) VanNuck. Also survived by 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister in law: Sally Weaver.
Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in spring 2023. Condolences may be sent to www.sorensonlockwood.com.
