Alicia Marie Hayes

Alicia Marie (Huey) Hayes, 33, of Grayling, MI., (formerly of Brighton) passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015. Alicia was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on February 22, 1982, a daughter of Mark and Brenda J. (Bennett) Huey. She graduated in 2000 from Brighton High School. She loved karaoke. Survived by her children: Haley Marie and Austin Michael Hayes. Parents: Mark and Brenda Huey of Grayling. Sister: Tabatha (Tom) Crandall of Grayling Brothers: Joshua Huey and Jeremiah (Tonya) Huey of Brighton. Nieces and nephews: Jordan, Chloe, Levin, Alia, Landon, Sandra, and Irelynn. Honorary grandparents: Pedro and Elmeda Romero of New Hudson. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents: Rev. Bill and Ellen Huey, Clyde and Dortha (Lawver) Bennett; and aunt Asenath Bennett-Helmantoler. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2015 between 12-2 p.m. and Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Patricia Petrie officiating.
