Susan Evans Amman

Susan Evans Amman, 74, of Grayling passed away peacefully April 4, 2018. Susan was born in Royal Oak, MI to Donald & Lucy (Smith) Evans on April 24, 1943. Susan was a very strong, independent and loving mother, grandmother and wife. Retired from Mercy Health Care, she worked as a social worker. Susan was known to be a social justice activist. She was an active member of Women of Wisdom. Susan was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church. She also loved the Great Lakes. Susan is survived by husband, Charles "Chuck" Amman of Grayling; children, Michael Amman of Holt, MI and Sarah (Nahun) Zelaya of Honduras; grandchildren Analucia and Elizabeth Zelaya-Amman; siblings, Deanna Grimes, Mary Jo Evans, and Patrick Evans; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Michael Evans. A memorial service will be held at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Higgins Lake Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
